Katz’s Delicatessen

This casual, kosher style restaurant was founded in 1888 and quickly became extremely popular with the locals. The restaurant has appeared in many movies throughout the years, the most famous being in When Harry Met Sally. They use a ticket system for their customers, giving them a blank printed ticket when they enter the restaurant and as they order food, the attendants fill it out to compile the amount pre-tax. The most popular dish is their pastrami sandwich, which they serve an average of 15,000 pounds of per week.


Lombardi’s Pizza

Originally a grocery store, the pizzeria was founded in 1905, Lombardi’s is acknowledged by the Pizza Hall of Fame as the first pizzeria in the United States. It has been running continuously in the Little Italy section of New York. It’s known for offering coal oven baked pizza with fresh ingredients, making it a popular pizza spot since its inception.


Keens Steakhouse

Located in the Garment District, Keens Steakhouse has been a staple for those looking for a delicious meal. It was rated #2 in restaurants in the Garment District and #7 in all of the steakhouses in New York. The steakhouse has over 50,000 churchwarden pipes, making it one of the biggest collections in the world. They are known worldwide for their mutton chops.


The Palm

This restaurant is all about tradition. It was originally created in 1926 who believed in family style meals and excellent steak quality. The restaurant has expanded to other locations over the years, but the original one still stands and is still just as dedicated to quality food and service.
